Ulises Cat. Boat Trips Ibiza Formentera Es Vedrà

Going to Cala Salada? It’s best to go by boat! Timetables 2017

It’s summer again so it’s our cue to resume our daily boat trips to the beautiful unspoiled beaches of Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta, north from the village of Sant Antoni de Portmany (San Antonio). As happened last season, there isn’t much parking space at this beach, so you need to get the park and ride bus to the coves. But, wouldn’t it be great to forget all about the car for a day and get on our boat? Not only will your trip to the shore be comfortable, but you will also enjoy a pleasant trip along Ibiza’s western coast. We’re looking forward to seeing you!

Cala Salada y Cala Saladeta

Surrounded by pine trees and spectacular crystal-clear water, these two small and unspoiled coves are two of the most beautiful beaches in Ibiza. If you’re seeking a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with crystal-clear waters where you can snorkel and spot fish, you’ll love these coves. Both coves are so close that they practically touch, but to get to Cala Saladeta -smaller but with fine sand- you need to take the path from the pink house along the cliff. You can also get to the adjacent cove by jumping on the rocks, but this might not be that easy if you have small children or if you’re carrying a sun umbrella or a heavy basket. Cala Salada has a pleasant beach bar named after the beach and it stands in the shade of the pine trees. They serve paellas and seafood (we recommend their mussels).

This is the perfect place for you if...

- You’re looking for unspoiled beaches.

- You don’t need (or want) a beach club nearby.

- You like to go fish-spotting, because there’s extensive sea life in every nook and cranny on the coast.

- You’d like to go on a picnic. Cala Saladeta has no shops or restaurants, so it’s the perfect excuse to prepare a fruit and sandwich picnic, for example. Take plenty of drinks if you don’t want to head back to Cala Salada early ;-)
